Yay, so I've been away for some days know, first becouse I was at my grandmas without internet, and later because I forgot my laptops charger -_-, but now I'm finally back and ready to take on EXO ^.^
This post is reserved for the tittle track, I will make sure to tackle the rest of the songs later ^.^
For starters MAMA is a song that can either be a hit or miss. You like it or you don't, as easy as that.
What I really like about the choreography is that it is complicated and flashy, but still manages to keep it's identity apart from other SM groups. The song does not seem very catchy at first but gradually gets stuck in your head. Specially the creepy and eerie chorus. Anonymous Heartless Mindless. It does happen to remind of the old SM days when ID: Peace B, Triangle and Don't Don where center stage. Of course this time around the dance is all EXO.
The MV is really really flashy and entertaining. I was a little taken aback by the second half when Kai from EXO-K, and Kris from EXO-M scream, but I got over it :p
I do have to mention that the Chinese version of the song seems more wild and edgier than the Korean version. This is most probably Kris' and Tao's doing and I love it !
Overall, EXO already left an impression with History and What is Love, and MAMA is just a reinforcement of their talents. Out of all the rookies in the past months EXO has the most potential to remain relevant and reach the top.
On the other hand, I must say that although they are good MAMA does not leave the same feeling of a perfect debut that SHINee (REPLAY), CN BLUE (Loner), and 2NE1 (FIRE) left on the fans. MAMA will probably be remembered as a good song but not as an all time favorite.

EXO "MAMA" Teaser

I finally got around to watching the teaser for EXO's MAMA that was revealed at their showcase and i love it. SM is going with the outer space and super power concept which is fine with me, specially because some of the members have a really mysterious image. Specially KRIS. I'm a fan of his eyes and that stare, and playing all that up with fire and burning things was smart of SM. Plus KAI's power is very very relevant, because he appears anywhere and everywhere by will (just like the teasers ^.^). In conclusion, I'm really hipped for EXO's debut COMING SOON !!!

EXO and D.O.
I have a confession to make ... I'm becoming really really biased toward EXO's D.O. His picture folder on my computer is growing swiftly, and he still hasn't debuted ^^
Of course the only picture folder larger than that is Minho's (my ultimate bias) and SHINee's in general.
Yeah I'm so biased and what ?!?!?
This merits a D.O. Picture Spam ^^
On another note, EXO will finally debut on April 9, with a mini album. I was really hoping for a full album but a mini is much better than a single. Either way I will probably become poor soon. I still have to keep in mind Infinite is having a comeback in May, and SHINee will be back again in July or something like that. My only consolation is that SM does not put songs from mini-albums onto full albums (only singles) so I won't be buying the same thing twice if I decide to buy EXO's mini album and their full album later this year ^^

EXO - History
EXO's second prologue "History", was not exactly what I was expecting but I am not disappointed. In truth I expected to see a smooth dance video but this is not bad. It shows a fiercer side to the boys.
Many say that EXO has already debuted because they have released two full songs and MV's but If you ask me, a real debut is a song intended for promotion. What EXO has released until now are songs that had the purpose of showing fans the groups diversity and talent. "History" is not single material at all when talking about S.M because it is not catchy in off.
Concerning the MV, the setting was a little strange, but these guys are from outer space so whatever. The dance was really nice and powerful. The singing voices of the members are pretty good along with the rapping. Although the set was strange, it was nice to see something a little less polished from S.M. and not the normal spiffy clean backdrop. Something else I must point out is that the camera effect on their crotches was just plain weird. ^^

More on EXO: AGES & INSIGHT
I checked EXO's page on wiki, and this is what I found.
It really surprised me to learn that the members aren't that young, and are not following the recent trend of members born after 1995. I am greatly relieved ^^ Only two of the member are younger then me and only by mere months, not even half a year.
In truth it really takes more effort to love a group when most of the members are younger that you cough*Boyfriend*cough. But in the end it ends up not mattering, but it is easier :P
P.S. Almost all of the members of SHINee, excluding Onew, are younger than at least one member of EXO. That's pretty interesting because it means that they could have been part of SHINee, or f(x) ... JK JK
P.S.2. Some of these guys are taller than the tallest guy in SM, CHANGMIN. Seriously, and I thought he was really tall.

EXO - What is Love
At first I was a little wary of EXO because I got bored due to so many teasers -_- but after the prologue song was released i'm back on track to liking them.
What is really annoying me are all the people who are bashing them for a pore debut when that song, "What is Love" should be considered another teaser for four of the members. It's not right to compare a "filler" song in an album to an actual tittle track, we haven't even seen them perform. Plus the MV is a compilation of most of their teasers, and although it has a very shaky probably non-existent story line, its high quality.
People should give them a chance...
In truth the song opened a little window to let us see what EXO can be trough those flawless vocals. After this song we at least know that two of the members in both Exo-K and Exo-M can truly sing.

P.S. I've been thinking wouldn't it be the most epic reversal ever if KAI ends up being in EXO-M, it would actually be pretty smart of SM to promote a member from a group that will probably not be seen in Korea much in order to give them popularity and awareness. But probably not, Kai looks to much like Taemin to send him to China JK JK, not that I mind if he stays. What i mind is that Lu Han in in Exo-M and probably Tao too. I can't stop thinking back to my precious hypothesis and hope that Exo-M don't become a part of S.M.'s dungeon, along Zhou Mi and Henry.

EXO Teasers 2 & 3
After making us wait 5 long days for the next teaser, they finally came out with it and I was super excited for it! It's actually pretty cool so check it out! In this one we have Kai and the new member that was introduced, Lu Han, dancing a nice dance number.
Now, today they release the 3rd Teaser where the third member Tao is introduced! In this teaser he does
some martial arts which are pretty cool! I'm not good at explaining so without further ado, watch it below.
I don't know about you guys but they are some talented kids. Although they are talented in different areas, they haven't showed them singing. I mean, if you want to be an idol, isn't that one of the biggest requirements? As of now, the first teaser is my all time favorite. Which one of the three is your favorite?

Christmas Potpourri
Happy Holidays everyone!! I wanted to greet you guys this holiday so I found some things that might entertain you for a while. There were so many things I wanted to post that I just decided to put it all in one post to save time. I guess you could call it an SM special.
Looking around I found someone that put the Exo Teaser 1 Chinese Version online on Youtube.
It basically looks the same but the song has been changed into Chinese, and from what I've been reading, really heavily accented Chinese. Seems like they need to practice it more!
MBC's "Music Core X-Mas Special" was on last night and it seems like Super Junior had a lot of fun because they appeared in Donghae's and Eunhyuk's "Oppa has Arrived" performance. Very nice touch by the way, really cute, which is why I thought I should share it for those who have not watched it yet.
On Youtube SM uploaded a video of Amber and Henry giving their holiday greetings and it was quite nice. Amber and Henry's voices are so nice, and it makes me wish that they would give Amber actual singing parts instead of just raps.

EXO - K/M Member #1
I will try to closely follow this debut for today ... (and probably only today). I will probably not post at all starting tomorrow, until after New Years. This is because I'm going to be at my grandmas house and that place and it's vicinity is devoid of an internet connection ... so sad ... lol.
