CHALLENGE4: DAY 16: A List of Your Top 5 Boy Groups

SHINee, Infinite, C.N Blue, F.T Island, TVXQ

1. SHINee
I really really like SHINee. From their choreography to their voices, to their members. They are a group I can have faith in, and be sure they will deliver.

2. Infinite
I love this group for constantly giving us quality music and for those amazing dance routines. Everything about Infinite (on stage) screams perfection, and that image is really beneficial for an artist.

3. C.N. Blue
C.N Blue has some of the catchiest music around without sounding cheap, and many times that is really hard to achieve. I specially love the mixing of JongHwa's and Jonghyun's voices.

4. F.T. Island
The fist k-pop group I ever listened to. They constantly release good music and are excellent performers. Their ballads are some of the few I can appreciate, although I am not a ballad person. Hongki is specially brilliant on stage and really let's himself go.

5. TVXQ (HoMin)
For me TVXQ is HoMin. I was never attached to the original line up, because when I found k-pop they where long gone. JYJ dosn't really hit home for me because I'm not a ballad person, and if the song is the least bit stagnant I quickly loose interest. Back to HoMin, Yunho and Changmin are very impressive stage wise. Although I may not be fond of all of their songs , they always look powerful on stage, and it seems they really put experience to play. I also want to add that I love all of their Jap. music.

Honorable mention to "Boyfriend", I love this group over all the rookies in 2011, which happens to be a very unpopular opinion, but I don't really care. People only remember their debut and don't see the potential ready to be released. Like I mentioned before I need an album like now :)

Plus "Big Bang". There is something about BB that doesn't really grow on me, but I do like a lot of their music and all of their members. It's just that, when something is overly complimented it looses their shine for me... don't you think ?

CHALLENGE3: DAY2: Your Bias in TVXQ

CHANGMIN

I'm very very fond of Changmin. I think he's awesome. From his singing, to his looks, to his charisma. He's the type of person you like just because, without needing a reason. If I had the chance to meet only one person in all of K-pop I would most likely choose Changmin.

Changmin is a great performer and he really does shine on stage. His high notes never fail to leave me in aw, and I love to see him dance because unlike other tall people, he doesn't seem a tad bit awkward. I could easily keep on going, complimenting Changmin, but I rather just stop and leave you guys with a video ^_^

CHALLENGE2: DAY 25: Your favorite cover of a k-pop song by another k-pop artist

SHINee covering Mirotic by TVXQ in 2008.
This is my favorite cover of Mirotic, of course it is not as good as the original but It is still pretty good, specially for rookie singers at the time. I think that if SHINee had the chace to try it again it would be much better since both Taemin and Minho have improved a lot vocally.

I also like this really short cover of "Rising Sun".

P.S. All or any readers I may have out there, please forgive me for the load of SHINee I've been throwing at you guys, It's just that SHINee IS BACK !

SM Orchestra: The Sound of Hallyu Wave

Like I've mentioned before I've been gone and trying to catch up with the K-pop world (today I went trough 30 pages in allkpop :0).

Anyway I missed the year end shows and have watched just a few performances (since i was more interested int he WGM special :P).

Although, I haven't watched much I was very impressed by SMTown's performance at the KBS Gayo Daejun, and would like to share it with you guys, although all of you have probably already seen it.



Henry: I Love You <3 I'm glad he was allowed to perform in Korea for a change.
Jungmo: He is always so Hot when performing !!!
Changmin and Taeyeon : WoW epic voices.
Victoria: This is the sort of dance she was made for, she looks so graceful.
Siwon: Love this drummer.
Seohyun: She looks so graceful on the piano.
Eunhyuk, Taemin, KAI: Great Dance number ^^

Evidence against SM for Obstructing JYJ's Activities

Palm TV broadcasted a segment today which was much anticipated, as they had announced it hours before. They claimed to have evidence on how SM Entertainment was obstructing JYJ's activities. I was skeptical at first when I heard about it. I was thinking that maybe it was just a hoax or that SM would pull it before it was aired, but it I was proved when it was aired a few hours ago.

The evidence was legitimate and to be honest, I was really happy that SM was getting a taste of their own medicine. They have to pay 500,000 to 800,000 U.S. dollars within a year (although SM is trying to reduce the amount,) as it was around the amount that JYJ lost thanks to their obstruction. The reporter submitted documents that showed that the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Art Industry and the Korean Entertainment Producer's Association united in the attempt to block JYJ's activities on TV programs. Of course they deny their involvement, but the documents are proof.

Now for my rant: God exists!!!!!! There has been some at least some justice. HAHAHA SM in your face! Although I love all of the idols in the company, SM should put on its grown up pants and leave JYJ alone already. How more childish could they get with all of the underhanded methods they are using to get in JYJ's way. RIDICULOUS and IMMATURE.

Hopefully now they will leave JYJ alone and also let HoMin communicate with JYJ. This stupid war should just end already. Poor boys are probably tired of all the scandals. I'm not saying that they should be back together as one group or anything like that, but just like any other fan, I want them to reunite and at least communicate. One more step to reunification; JYJ and HoMin fighting!

Kyu Line is Back

I Love Kyu Line !!!
Kyuhyun, Changmin, and Minho recently made a call to Shin Shin Ta Pa , and it was quite cute and hilarious. It would be almost safe to guess that they where all drinking but it seems like Max was the most drunk when the call was received.

I Love HoMin here (and everywhere ^^), this song just has this really nice feel to it.
Their voices sound really well together, and although I was a little concerned to see if they could pull this song off live, because of the arrangement, I am happy they can.
They sound beautiful and look handsome.

Best Kpop Dance Covers

So I know it's been a long time since i blogged, and I apologize. These college applications take so long and it's stressing! But enough of my complaints XD let's get on with the post shall we?

I was on Youtube looking up tutorials for Kpop dances and I stumbled upon some covers that are phenomenal! Here are some of the few which had me jumping in my seat like a fangirl.

Ohhhhh the classic Mirotic... could not be forgotten, especially since these boys are practically a mini DBSK! They have the moves, the looks, the charm, and even the fangirls!

I guess that was the biggest mistake that SONE could have made, she pitted ELF's against Cassie's, and that's something that just doesn't work. I guess she could have gotten some sympathy from Cassies if she hadn't mentioned SuJu or spelled Yoochun's and Yunho's, names wrong -_-

Anyway Like a fellow blogger said in one of her post's, SuJu and TVXQ have a similar history, maybe that's why ELF's and Cassies stick together...

TVXQ: Biased Ears ???

To the Cassies out there, I need help with a dilemma.

I really LOVE TVXQ's new Japanese Album, but I'm having trouble distinguishing the voices of Yunho and Changmin. I hear Yunho sometimes, but most of the time I only hear Changmin, probably because every single song has a very beautiful albeit distracting long note by the evil maknae. It might also be that I'm biased toward Changmin <3

Is Changmin Getting all the choruses?

Anyway I really want to find Yunho's voice, does anybody have a pointer as to how to distinguish it? I wasn't having a problem distinguishing them during their Korean promotions ...

TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee - Seaside Song for SM Town

The following song was released in 2008, if I am not mistaken, for SM Town Live 2008. It was sung by the 5 members of TVXQ, the 13 members of Super Junior, and the 5 members of SHINee. In total there are supposed to be 23 voices :o 


The video was uploaded last month so I had not had a chance to watch it, but I find it very beautiful  and most ELF's, Shawols, and Cassies will appreciate these scenes. Although I've heard this song before the video makes it so much better.


I had fun trying to see if I could identify the voices and I'm thinking I'm pretty good :P 
So what do you think about the song/ video/ guys/ interactions/ idk? :D

 

Kyu-line is the best

Kyu-line conformed of Super Junior's Kyuhyun, TVXQ's Changmin, and SHINee's Minho, is back.

 Kyuhyun has recently released a picture of the three together, which equals love.

 Minho is my all time favorite, Changmin is my favorite in TVXQ, and Kyuhyun is always in my tops in          Super Junior, although I can't say I have a favorite.

Kpop Rant 3: My Dog and Kpop

The typical words that just activate the kpoper in you:  I’ll be back, hot summer, infinite, shiny, sorry.

Well I took it to the next level. My brother just got a 2 month old Pit Bull Blue Nose for his birthday and we had to find a name for him. All the names that came to mind where idol names (aaah the extent of my obsession LOL) … of course, knowing my brother he would never allow his precious dog to be named after a kpop idol. He thinks I’m weird for liking them anyway. So I tricked him into it.

                

Instead of going for a Korean name I went for a group with  very westernized names. The 5 TVXQ members have some of my favorite names in kpop: Hero Jaejoong, U-know Yunho, Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun, Max Changmin. So now our dogs name is Max. People think oh a typical dog name right, ja ja ja, but I think Max, Max Changmin. So our dog is actually named after my favorite TVXQ member. J

SM Entertainment Celebrities defend DBSK on Twitter

Since the twitter controversy that began after the tweets made by JYJ's Junsu towards DBSK(http://www.allkpop.com/2011/01/xiah-junsus-ambiguous-tweets-to-tvxqs-yunho-concerns-fans), SM Entertainment celebrities began to defend their fellow comrades.

Sungmin tweeted:

“After keeping it in after sometime, I’m leaving this message because I feel this has gone too far. Does (he) not remember the old days when we said we’d work hard together? We were happy even when we were practicing. Did (he) really forget the times when we thought going on broadcast even just once felt like a dream? I’d like it if (he) could look in the mirror once again and think whether (he) has forgotten his rookie mindset~ I understood and forgave them for leaving us without a single word so they could find their own paths, but I don’t know why they are making fools out of people who are quietly doing well by saying all kinds of these absurd lies and hurtful sayings.”

Even Super Junior's Shindong retweeted a message by BoA and Black Beat’s Sim Jaewon's which said:
“Enemy (敵): An opponent who wants to fight or hurt another.
Ingratitude (背恩忘德): An attitude of one throwing away their indebtedness to someone and betraying them.
In other words, saying that my family wants to fight or hurt another is an attitude of one throwing away their indebtedness to them and betraying them!”

Seems like it's going to be an ugly fight between celebrities from SM Entertainment and JYJ.
