I finally got around to changing my blog design a little. What do you guys think ^^ ?

So I've been seeing a lot of people actually hate on SHINee because of two teaser photos. Guys ... WTH ... SHINee hasn't comeback in more than a year and you guys are complaining. I mean, It's okay to have an opinion and voice it (I do it myself all the time it's FUN, I did it for Taemins Teaser too), but why outright hate on them. I think that's plain stupid. I'm not asking you guys to like everything (because that's just being hypocritical no one can like everything) but at least stop saying that SHINee is producing porn, or that they are ruined, or that Taemin is a slut, or that their comeback is a failure, when we aren't even into 10% of the promotion -_-

Anyway, we all know S.M. is a troll when it comes to teasers (remember the Mr. Simple promotions and The Boys). So take the pictures as they come but remember the meaning behind them,

  SHINee is finally back!

Plus, complaining so much just gives the impression that you guys are in it only for the appearances and not the music, which is what really counts. Those who are worried about the music following the trend of their teasers can calm down, SHINee always produces solid albums. Come on, let's appreciate their hard work even if you find it outrages.

Notes:
1. This is going around tumblr as the track list, I don't know if it's official but I'm excited !!! Does anybody know when the pre-orders are going to start on yeassasia.com or kpoptown.com ?

2. The third Taemin teaser photo, he's so beautiful here. Seriously, I know he doesn't like being called beautiful but that's what he is O.O Plus, his hair is so long and pretty, longer than Lucifer days ^^

CHALLENGE2: DAY 13: A k-pop group you dislike and why

Seriously I don't think I can actually name a group. Dislike is a very strong word and I'm the type of person who brushes of something if it is not to their liking. There isn't a k-pop group relevant in off in my mind to deserve dislike. Usually I may not like a groups musical style but I like the members, or I don't like a member but I can tolerate their music. In truth I have not liked certain people in k-pop but after time I've come to see some of their charms.


In summary I can find the good points in every group I find relevant to me, and therefore no hate. Plus I have no energy to dislike people I don't know :P I'm Lazy like that.


Usually dislike for groups comes from not knowing much about them or never really exploring their music. Giving groups a chance is the best way to know if they are your style or not and just get over the dislike and decide to like them or move on.

SHINee Rant #2

SHINee's SM Town page changed background.

I think it's pretty cute and hints at a colorful comeback.

I'm really really excited for their comeback, and at the moment I'm just checking online k-pop stores to see when "Sherlock" goes on pre-order ^^

P.S. Sorry to my readers who will probably be loaded down with SHINee stuff until and after the comeback, it's just that they are my favorite group and Shawols really do miss them ^^

1 Year Anniversary

I'M BACK !!!
So I finally have internet access after being away for more than a weak, I missed blogging !!!

As a comeback post I wanted to celebrate Debonair Flare: Kpop's one year anniversary which took place the 29th of December.

I remember that last year Miruku and I decided to work on the blog on New Year's Eve because i was bored and could not go out after having medical surgery on my nose LOL

After that Mizukyu joined us, and later for a long time it was me alone because of miruukus college work and her leaving town, but mizukyu is always there to give a hand !

I would like to thank everyone who reads our post, and specially those that comment, every comment makes us want to keep this blog going.

I love blogging and I love K-pop, that just means I love my blog !!!

Evidence against SM for Obstructing JYJ's Activities

Palm TV broadcasted a segment today which was much anticipated, as they had announced it hours before. They claimed to have evidence on how SM Entertainment was obstructing JYJ's activities. I was skeptical at first when I heard about it. I was thinking that maybe it was just a hoax or that SM would pull it before it was aired, but it I was proved when it was aired a few hours ago.

The evidence was legitimate and to be honest, I was really happy that SM was getting a taste of their own medicine. They have to pay 500,000 to 800,000 U.S. dollars within a year (although SM is trying to reduce the amount,) as it was around the amount that JYJ lost thanks to their obstruction. The reporter submitted documents that showed that the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Art Industry and the Korean Entertainment Producer's Association united in the attempt to block JYJ's activities on TV programs. Of course they deny their involvement, but the documents are proof.

Now for my rant: God exists!!!!!! There has been some at least some justice. HAHAHA SM in your face! Although I love all of the idols in the company, SM should put on its grown up pants and leave JYJ alone already. How more childish could they get with all of the underhanded methods they are using to get in JYJ's way. RIDICULOUS and IMMATURE.

Hopefully now they will leave JYJ alone and also let HoMin communicate with JYJ. This stupid war should just end already. Poor boys are probably tired of all the scandals. I'm not saying that they should be back together as one group or anything like that, but just like any other fan, I want them to reunite and at least communicate. One more step to reunification; JYJ and HoMin fighting!

2NE1 Scaring New Fans Since 2009 -_-

OK so I know 2NE1 is supposed to have their own style and all that, but I can't help thinking their clothes in the following picture looked old, cheap, and have no class. Even though I am sure they are more expensive than anything I could ever own in my closet.

It's even more evident when they are standing beside other idols -_-

Seriously, If I knew nothing about Kpop and I saw this picture I would think these girls have issues.
They even look extremely creepy. Minzy and Park Bom look particularly scary. CL seems to have escaped the 80's and Dara's hair is just a no no. Furthermore Minzy does not look like an 18 year old -_-

Hyuna and Leetuke look nice and professional since this was the Youtube award ceremony after all -_-
Too bad I can't say the same for 2NE1

T-ara******Cry Cry

Personally I found that the MV had a great story line, that actually makes you feel something.
More than A Music Video this turns into a mine Drama/Movie.
I have to accept that I'm a softy for sad stories and this is not an exception.

JYJ and their Perverted Songs

The only JYJ songs I have on my i-pod are some of the ones on their English album. This is because I am not a fan of most ballads and their album had some faster paced songs, unlike the Korean album.

While I was listening to the songs I remembered something I noticed long ago, some of their songs are soooo perverted. Seriously.

Here are two very pervy songs, I mean if you don't pay attention to the lyrics, they sound good, but the lyrics just make me cringe.

Be The One 
Honestly this songs chorus makes me lough, I just imagine a weird guy going "Baby be the one", because of that voice LOL



Be My Girl
This one is not that apparently pervy, but theirs some underling messages present (;
It is also amusingly cocky.

Oh God the hidden and not so hidden meaning of these songs is pure gold.

P.S. I bet all of you thought I was going to talk about this ... LOL...

Three to Win

I was thinking, "What things make people love their favorite group?"

So I went ahead and answered that myself.

Personally the top three thing I love about SHINee are :

1. Their lives sound like the actual CD. (In Ring Ding Dong, they even sang the Ring Ding Dong part!)
2. Their dancing/ coordination /choreography are better than most k-pop groups.
3.  They have a variety of music and don't stick to a single sound.

Of course after being a fan there are a lot more things I like about them, like the personality they project, or their looks, but the above three are the essence of it all. Without them SHINee could have become just another group to me, IDK. 

So what 3 thing make you love your bias group, or at least were the hook that made you love them?

As I have stated before I am a really big fan of actor Song Jong Ki. He just has the perfect flower boy image.

So, I was looking through this wiki page the other day and was extremely surprised by what I found.

I really, really, can’t believe he is 26.

Seriously, Song Jong Ki is 26.

If someone had asked me before this for his age the most I would have guessed is 23. I still can’t believe it.

After Tablo's return to the music scene, I was curious as to the mention of a scandal that had caused him to leave Epik High, and had shattered his career. I was expecting anything from Korean Netizens, because they are people who have nothing better to do than hide behind their computers and destroy those who decide to take on the world. The only thing I was not expecting to find was this irrationality, and the destruction of Tablo and his family because of a dumb witch hunt.

I've always had it present in my mind, that a single word from the crowd can ruin you. A single lie made, or a single mistake can scar your life forever. These people jumped the bandwagon, and went as far as to threaten to kill  him and his family. Just because of one single reason, they did not believe he had graduated from Stanford with both a Masters and Bachelors in English in just 3 and a half years, even though officials had confirmed it.

For those of you who would like to read an insightful article that relates what happened to Tablo, go here. You will find an article that was posted on the Stanford Magazine. If you do not want to feel upset don't go there, because this writer tells it as it is.

I personally wish everyone could read this in order to become conscious of how hating someone you don't know, jumping  a bandwagon, and using anonymity to say something we would never say in public, can cause so much damage.This is not just about Tablo, or other stars, but about kids and adults who get bullied everyday.

We should become conscious of our actions, and take a stand. There is so much hate and destruction in the world, why add to it?

SHINee - Hit Me ....

I found this while lurking on YT along whit the song posted in the post below, and I just wanted to redeem SHINee LOL

The song is called Hit Me, and it talks about a relationship between two people, when one has hurt the other but is trying to redeem himself. He is saying that he prefers to be hit than far away from the girl.

I found the lyrics very meaningful, and this song is a much loved oldy from SHINee's younger days ^^

The following video is beautiful and all credit goes to CottonCandrea @ YT who mentions that it took her one and a half years to complete. ENJOY.

I guess that was the biggest mistake that SONE could have made, she pitted ELF's against Cassie's, and that's something that just doesn't work. I guess she could have gotten some sympathy from Cassies if she hadn't mentioned SuJu or spelled Yoochun's and Yunho's, names wrong -_-

Anyway Like a fellow blogger said in one of her post's, SuJu and TVXQ have a similar history, maybe that's why ELF's and Cassies stick together...

SHINee's Manager = Disgusting

I saw this video on a 6theory forum and was like WTF !!! @ :38 second mark

SHINee's manager was filmed hitting a girl ... AGAIN. I find this quite stupid, why would SM keep a guy that acts so rashly, he will just make SHINee look bad. Too bad SHINee doesn't have a choice on whether to keep him or not. You can't just go trough life hitting people ... this guy is crazy. I know that the first time he did it was supposedly because the girl was touching one of the members but that's still no reason to hit her. In this video we can see him hit a girl who is apparently just ogling the boys, she's not even in fan girl mode. She should sue him out of his house ... Off with his head !!!

So as the highest rated comment for this video on YT said ..

Ugggh, I hate guys that hit women they are so disgusting. His mom must be proud.

Anyway, to end it lightly, girl's if you meet SHINee beware, don't ask for an autograph you might get a slap instead ... or just check that one of there other two managers is present and not this thing.
